Rockhurst Archives - Student Organizations (C.1)

The Student Organizations collection consists of materials from 1919 to 2007, that provide documentation of over 90 various student led clubs and organizations at Rockhurst University, their registration and budget information, constitutions, rosters, correspondence, working papers of the Student Senate, and material from activities that include flyers, clippings, photos and a video tape. The collection is divided into four series, three reflecting the different types of organizations found on campus and a series for yearly registration documents. These series include Academic Organizations and Social Organizations that are arranged alphabetically by organizations and Registration Documents and Student Senate that are arranged alphabetically by content, then chronological.

1. Academic Organizations (box 1) includes funding requests, registration sheets, correspondence, constitutions, minutes, clippings, and photos, and qualification and induction material from 1924 to 2004.
2. Social Organizations (boxes 2-3) includes rosters, funding requests, constitutions, policies, correspondence, photographs, pamphlets and flyers, minutes, blank forms, clippings, booklets, a housing proposal and questionnaire, oversize resolution and a VHS video tape from 1919 to 2007.
3. Registration Documents (boxes 3-4) includes constitutions, rosters, funding requests and member lists from 1948 to 2007.
4. Student Senate (boxes 4-7) includes minutes, correspondence, topical discussion materials, administrative documents, clippings and booklets from 1938 to 2007.
