Abstract: Student organizations at Rockhurst University cover a variety of areas that include student government, academic, social, political, recreational, religious and other common interests. As early as 1973 and continuing on today, the University requires student organizations be student led, registered every year with a constitution, have a faculty/ staff advisor, a President, and a Treasurer. The Student Organizations collection consists of materials from 1919 to 2007 that provide documentation of over 90 various clubs and organizations at Rockhurst University, their registration and budget information, constitutions, rosters, correspondence, working papers of the Student Senate, and material from activities.
