Join us as we show you the past, present, and future plannings of the College Readiness Dialogues taking place in the Kansas City metro area! These events are open to all school, academic, public, & special librarians and other interested educators.
The objective of the College Readiness Dialogues is to provide an open, relaxed, and informal dialogue between librarians and faculty from high school and higher education on students college readiness. How can librarians and faculty collaborate to strength the transition between high school and college, especially in the area of information literacy? What can we do to impact students success?
Since the first College Readiness Dialogues in 2010, librarians and faculty have established relationships for working together to improve the experience of students transitioning from high school to college.
This event is sponsored each year by the libraries of Blue Valley High School and Rockhurst University.
