The library at Rockhurst University uses the Library of Congress Classification system to organize the books. This is a different from the Dewey Decimal System used by school and public libraries. Dewey is divided into ten numbered catagories.
Library of Congres uses an alphanumeric division to allow for more specific catagories.
But don't worry, finding books is very easy. After you find a title in the catalog, you will use the call number to find the book on the shelf.
