Open Minds, a program of Rockhurst University's Center for Arts and Letters presented in partnership with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, is a series of book discussions facilitated by different Rockhurst University faculty and staff. Each of the four fiction or non-fiction books for the 2021-2022 academic year relate to issues of race, social justice and immigration. To learn more, please visit the Center for Arts and Letters.
This guide has been developed by Greenlease Library staff to provide supplemental information about the four texts, their authors, themes, and issues.
