Tom Gallagher

Tom Gallagher is a regular contributor to National Catholic Reporter and lead writer for the newspaper's Mission Management column, which he began. He has served on NCR's board of directors and worked for two years on a pro bono basis for the Postulator for the Cause of Sainthood of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and in the development and administration of the Mother Teresa of Calcutta Center, Inc., a New York State not-for-profit organization of the Missionaries of Charity. He traveled to Kolkata in order to help facilitate the organization's first two board meetings. Tom received a B.A. in Philosophy and Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Order of Malta, American Association and the Knights of Columbus. Tom recently received the Graymoor Community Service Award from the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.
