Faculty Resources at Greenlease Library

Embedded Library Instruction Services (ELIS) is a direct and organized presence in your Canvas course. By following the procedure outlined in the ELIS form, you will grant embedded permission to the Greenlease librarian assigned to your course. 

The permission allows the librarian to modify ELIS content, such as research guides, post replies to discussion forums, and post course related library announcements, such as scheduled times for one-on-one research consultations. This permission does not provide instructor access, and librarians will not see grades, assignments or track students.

Once you click on the Submit button, the Online Learning department will activate such permission in your specific course. The librarian will then load and customize ELIS components in your Canvas course. Comments from the instructor towards customization is encouraged and welcome!
