"Primary" Resources

A great first place to start looking for information on a organization is the organization's own websites. You can see how they describe themselves, specific language used, and interactions outside the organization.

Look at:

The position description information - there is often a description of the organization with basic information.

Organization's website - look for areas like "about us", "mission", "history", "facts", etc.

Organization's social media sites - what is the content of these sites? Do they engage, do they primarily promote, etc.
