Faculty Resources at Greenlease Library

Greenlease Library offers library research instruction geared toward your class objectives and assignments. A librarian is available to partner with you to develop research assignments and course specific research guides. Please view the Current Course Guides for examples of course specific research guides.

Research instruction for your students is available in person at the Library Instruction Lab, in your classroom, or a librarian can be embedded in your class via Blackboard.  If you are interested in library instruction, please complete the Instruction Request Form or  contact the Research, Learning & Assessment Services Librarian.

Greenlease Library allows faculty student assistants to check out library materials for faculty members. To arrange for an assistant please fill out the Faculty Student Assistant Form.

You may set up or renew your library account either online or in person at the library. Faculty library accounts expire at the end of each academic year.

Your library account will allow you to: 

• Request items from our library and other libraries in the Kansas City area from the Online Catalog

• Request items directly from other MOBIUS libraries. Rockhurst University is a member of the MOBIUS consortium consisting of 60 Missouri academic libraries around the state. This gives our students the ability to identify and use materials from the collections of these libraries. Currently the total of the collections of these libraries is nearly 20 million items.

• View your library account to see what you have checked out, renew items, view any unpaid fees on your account or view items on request from other libraries

• Request materials that are not available through Rockhurst or MOBIUS through Interlibrary Loan.
  

Greenlease library offers course reserves in the library, including, but not limted to: required readings, supplemental learning materials, old tests, music or videos, study guides, etc. 

• To place a course material on reserve please fill out the Reserves Request Form.

Items may be placed on reserve at any time during the semester. Reserves will be processed as soon as possible based on staff availability and the number of submissions waiting to be processed.  Please allow 2-3 business days for your items to be processed.
