Linking to American Nurse Journal Articles

1. Open the article in the journal and copy the URL from the browser.

Example:  https://www-myamericannurse-com.lib.rockhurst.edu/developing-a-mentor-program-to-improve-support-and-retention/

2. Delete the lib.rockhurst.edu portion of the URL.

3. Add the Rockhurst proxy prepend: https://lib.rockhurst.edu/login?url=

4. Beware! Make sure to look closely at the website URL and change the dashes to periods!

Example: https://lib.rockhurst.edu/login?url=https://www.myamericannurse.com/developing-a-mentor-program-to-improve-support-and-retention/

5. It is good practice to locate the citation of the article and include the hyperlink with the citation.
