Top 10 Things Every First Year Should Know About the Library

  1. Student ID

    1. Student ID = Library Card

Your Student ID serves as your library card and is required for you to check out any materials. It also allows you to print and provides you swipe access to the building during restricted hours. *** Please note during Fall 2020 semester, the library is swipe-access only. ***

  4. headphones

    4. We Lend Technology (and Office Supplies)

We have laptops, phone chargers, and headphones available for in-library use. Just stop by the desk with your Student ID, and we'll hook you up. Need a hole punch, a paper cutter, a stapler, tape, or a paper clip? We have those too. Just look for the supplies table on the first floor or ask.
  5. Printer

    5. Computers, Printers, Scanners, oh my!

In addition to lending technology, we also have several desktop computers (located on the first floor & computer lab on the Mezzanine level), printers (located on the first floor & Mezzanine level), and scanners (part of the printers - located on the first floor & Mezzanine level) available making it easy to drop by between classes to finish that paper &/or print it off before class.
  6. Student studying at desk

    6. Study Rooms

Need a space to focus? We have individual study rooms available on a first come, first served basis. Most have white boards if you need to work out a problem or organize your thoughts. *** Please note during the Fall 2020 semester, students must reserve a room for individual use at least 48 hours in advance via Ad Astra and check in at the desk at the time of the reservation. ***
