Developing Links

It is a best practice to develop your links using the Notepad app and staying away from Microsoft Word. Notepad creates plain-text files that contain no hidden formatting commands. This is useful for building documents that are read electronically and would be confused by non-text characters. 

Testing Links

Test the accuracy of the link you created by opening a different browser and using the link. Another suggestion, is to test the link off-campus ensuring that the library proxy link is functioning correctly and will prompt you to authenticate with your university credentials in order to gain access to the resource.
