BJS is the primary statistical agency of the Department of Justice. It's mission is to collect, analyze, publish, and disseminate information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government.

This research group at Cornell Law School publishes law online for free, creates materials to help people understand law, and explores technologies to make finding laws easier.
